Our Aqueous double wall BioCups are certified home compostable to AS5810 standards and made with a water-based dispersion coating. The coating is printed like a water-based ink, allowing it to be absorbed into the paper fibers, rather than sitting on top as an additional layer. This reduces the amount of material needed – while still providing the same leak and grease-proof benefits as other coatings. These water-based paper cups are different to our PLA bioplastic lined cups. These Aqueous cups feature a double wall for extra comfort and protection against hot drinks like long blacks or tea.
