About Vecchio Industries

Vecchio Industries builds and operates software companies serving the education, engineering, and real estate markets. Our products include a municipal project intelligence platform, mobile apps for independent schools, and custom software for engineering and surveying firms. We’re a small operation built for the long term, and the people who work with us own their work.

The role

You’ll write code that ships to real users across our portfolio products. You’ll work directly with our lead developer on features, fixes, and data work, and you’ll see how software actually gets built, sold, and supported inside operating companies.

What you’ll do

  • Build and ship features for production web and mobile applications
  • Work with modern web tooling: JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node, PostgreSQL, and REST APIs
  • Help with data pipelines, integrations, and automation across products
  • Write code that gets reviewed, and review code in return
  • Sit in on product and client conversations to see the context behind what you’re building

Who this fits

  • Students pursuing computer science, software engineering, or a related field (bootcamp and self-taught candidates with real projects are welcome)
  • At least one project you built and can walk us through (coursework, personal, or open source)
  • Comfortable figuring things out from documentation before asking
  • Clear written communication
