Vecchio Industries builds and operates software companies serving the education, engineering, and real estate markets. Our products include a municipal project intelligence platform, mobile apps for independent schools, and custom software for engineering and surveying firms. We’re a small operation built for the long term, and the people who work with us own their work.
The role
We’re looking for an independent sales consultant to bring in new software clients. You find the leads, open the doors, and close the deals. We handle everything after the signature: implementation, support, and account service.
This is a contractor relationship, not employment. There’s no base salary, no benefits, and no quota. There’s also no cap, no territory restrictions, and no one telling you how to spend your day. You get paid when contracts you closed are active and paying.
How the commission works
You earn 15% of contract value for every client you convert. As long as the client stays active, you keep getting paid.
What you’ll do
- Prospect and qualify leads from your own network, or work from the lead lists and prospecting guidance we provide
- Run the sales conversation from first contact to signed contract; we’ll back you up on demos and technical questions
- Hand off closed clients to our delivery team and move on to the next deal
- Keep us posted on your pipeline so we know where to help
